The British Kung Fu Association National Championships is an annual event which has been running for well over 30 years and is a prestigious event for the association. The BKFA Championships have played an important part in the history and development of competition fighting in the UK.
Open to all Styles & Associations
The Championships are open to competitors from all styles and associations.
See tournament fighting at its best where top fighters from across the country battle it out for the title of National Champion.

Demonstration from Coach Xia, China
This year’s competition features demonstrations from Coach Xia (from Foshan China) and the BKFA Demonstration Team. Coach Xia will be conducting a number of seminars through the UK following the Championships, details to follow shortly.
New! 4 Nations Team Challenge
This years competition features the ‘4 Nations Team Challenge’. Teams from England, Ireland, Scotland & Wales will battle it out for the title of ‘National Team Champions’.
BKFA Seminars
A series of seminars are held throughout the day which are taught by the Lau Gar Guardians and are open to all in attendance (held in the seminar room). The Seminars taking place this year are;
12pm - Tournament Fighting Techniques – with Sean Viera - World Champion and GB Team Coach
2pm – Qi Gong – with Pete Hornby, Lau Gar Guardian
The event is an enjoyable day for both competitors and spectators and is an opportunity for all BKFA members to come together.
